POO POO in the potty!!!

Well, we have some big news in the Marinello household... Sydney did her first poo poo in the potty. She kept telling me she had to go so I put her on the potty and out it came. We made a big deal about it and made her take a picture and she got to flush it bye-bye, which she was actually sad about. Saturday we were busy running around so she never really bugged us about going to the bath room but this morning (Sunday) after church she did it again! Good job Sydney! Here are a few pictures of the wonderful day!

Here she is in her big girl undies
This is what she thinks of her undies!
I also got a few bathtub pictures that I love to take because she is so happy when she gets to take a bath! She has so much fun and if I would let her stay in for hours she would but normally I have to get her out because the water starts to get cold.

On Saturday my dad came over in the morning to do some more on the wood floors. This project has taken over a year and we are glad to say that we are just about finished. We have about 3 more cuts and the baseboards and we are done!

When you put down wood floors normally you have to put some type of foam down before and somehow Sydney took the left over foam and put it in her room. She was playing with this for what seemed like an hour and the whole time she kept making it a blanket and laying on it. She is so funny and of course has the imagination like her fathers.

I love her little feet and had to get a picture.
Nothing else has really happened this week. I have been trying really hard to finish the twilight series and I always get caught up doing something else and it is really driving me crazy. I am half way through "eclipse" and am dying to read "breaking dawn", I have heard from a dear friend that its the best one :)

This coming Friday we have our 20 week ultrasound and if we choose to we can find out what we are having. Of course Mike could not go another 20 weeks without knowing so I believe that we will find out. I am now at the point where I have no normal shirts that fit me, and that really frustrates me. I still don't have to wear maternity pants but man the shirts  are driving me crazy and it makes me not want to leave the house because I have NOTHING to wear. Also I have low self esteem when it comes to my weight so I just always think I look fat and that really frustrates me to no end.
Thanks for reading as I write about my daughters first potty job :)

  1. Hurray for Sydney : ) What a big girl!! And guess what...today is Friday. And you had your ultrasound and I know what you're having (not like we didn't already know though..)! But I will wait and let you post the big announcement. Oh...and we need to go on a girls day out and get you some new shirts! Some cute ones! Let's do it!
