23 Months

I can not believe that Sydney is going to be TWO in about 2 weeks. It is amazing how fast time flies. This little girl brings so much joy and happiness in our lives and I can not wait until we are blessed with another one!

This week there was not a lot going on. On Monday I watched Jack for a friend and while he was sleeping Sydney and I spent some time playing outside. She loves going outside especially since we do not have a backyard, so anytime we are around people with a backyard that is what she wants to do. Here are a few pictures of Sydney playing out back at Kelly's house.

Running with her crazy hair everywhere!
Playing with a ball
Going down slides.

On Tuesday Mike took the day off so that we could hang out together as a family which we really needed. We got to go to the mall and get a much needed new pair of flip-flops for both Mike and I. Then we had some lunch and let Sydney play in the play area for a little bit to get some energy out so that she would take a good nap. That night Sydney and I went to a friends house and Sydney got to play with Kenzie while Dani and I got to hang out and chat. Here are a few pictures at the mall and then the drive home :)

Sydney decided that she needed to pray!
And pray again!
This one is my favorite :)
What Syd does best...stick her fingers up her nose.
On Wednesday I work at the church in the mornings and we have to be there by 8:15am but this past Wednesday Mike was meeting with his boss at starbucks so we decided to go with him a little bit earlier and hang out together, but that did not work out as planned because we did not get there too early so when we got there Matt was already there! Here are a few pictures I took yesterday of her playing around and being the dork that she is :)

She Loves Jack

Last year on this exact date I took a picture of Sydney playing on her princess car, so this year I did the same shot. Last year she was not able to move the car by herself so I was able to get a better shot, this year she just kept moving away from me  :) I can not believe how much she has grown in 1 year.

It's been a while...

It has been while since I did a post so I am going to have some catching up to do. Last Saturday we went to the MacCallum's bright and early because the guys were going to go paint ball. On our way there our little Sydney decided to stick a raisin up her nose, so we had to call the MacCallum's on our way out there to ask where an urgent care was because she really stuck it up there. Of course on our way to the urgent care she sneezed it out. We hung out all morning and let the kiddos play and they also got a nap in which was wonderful. Then the guys came home and let Lisa and I get out of the house for a little bit...when I say little I mean a little bit, like 45 min. Then we came back and had a wonderful dinner and watched the kids go crazy and then we made the drive home to get Syd to bed. She was so tired from playing all day with the kids that she went right to bed. Thanks you guys for having us over the ENTIRE day!

The rest of the week was pretty quiet around the house. Tuesday I had a Dr. appointment and then spent the afternoon with my sister-in-law. Thursday I went back out to the MacCallum's and the kids got to play together and Lisa and I were able to hang out, which was so nice! That night Mike and I took Sydney to the Jumping Party, where she got to play and have a great time...and Mike really enjoyed it too :) We are having Sydney's party there which will be nice because she already LOVES the place and cries every time we leave. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were pretty uneventful days in the Marinello household. But sometimes it is nice not having anything to do!

Until next time...

Oh Happy Days...

Well Tuesday was a good day! Sydney of course woke up at the crack of dawn and ate some breakfast and hung out with daddy till he left for work. I then got myself and Sydney ready. I went to Lisa's house where we hung out for the afternoon and had a great time. I love watching the kids interact with eachother! Sydney is quite a bit younger than her three older kids but they were so patient with Sydney which can be a hard thing to do sometimes :) To say the least Sydney and I had a great time.

On the way home I was so glad that Syd did not fall asleep so that I did not have to try and move her cause she always wakes up. So I got home and put her to bed. And guess who never took a nap, that's right Syd. This is the first time in her life that she has never had some sort of a nap during the day (even if that means a 20 min cat nap) today was NOTHING! So we kept her up till 7 which was really hard and put her to bed!

On Wednesday she did the same thing...No nap except the 20 min cat-nap that she got at the church. But today she did take a 2 hour nap but she turned the light on in her room which I thought was a little crazy so I peeked under the door to see if she was up and playing but I did not see her so I assume that she was sleeping but I did not want to open the door because she slammed it shut while she turned on her light. So she ended up with a nap which was good.

We have had a great few days with some crazy stuff mixed in so if you think of it could you keep us in your prayers. Thanks you! Here are some pictures on Sydney over the past few days...

Outside!

We were finally able to go OUTSIDE with out dying of heat! Here are some pictures that we took today at the Park. We had to go outside and play, the weather is just too beautiful to stay inside. I think we might even try and go to the Zoo again tomorrow because mid week it is suppose to get hot again.

Sydney never liked the swings until today! She cried when we left...

We had a wonderful Saturday!

This Morning...

We got up, packed a lunch and headed to the Zoo and had a wonderful time. The weather was absolutely PERFECT! We got there when it opened and before it got too busy and walked around the whole zoo. Sydney loves to walk around rather than being in her stroller so it can take us a long time to walk the zoo. Here is a picture of Sydney and daddy walking together after being in the stroller for a while.
Mike loves to take pictures and he decided to bring his fish eye lens with him today so all of the picture with the circle were done by Mike. We went and saw the goats, Sydney's favorite, Tigers, Lions, Bears, Monkeys, Giraffes, Rhino's, and much, much more. Here are a few pictures from the zoo.

Before we went to the zoo I decided to try and straighten Sydney's hair. I am not sure I am a fan of the straight hair but I wanted to see what it would look like. So here is a before and after picture...

AFTER:
After the Zoo since the weather was so nice we let Sydney play outside on the front porch. She LOVES being outside so she had a blast. Here are a few more pictures of us spending some time outside :)
Sydney throwing the ball
She was not able to catch it.
Eating her pop-pop
Sydney and I enjoying the weather!
This morning was a perfect outing with the family...all I know is that we need to go to the Zoo more often since we have a membership! This afternoon we are going to try and go to the park because I can not stand being inside on this wonderful day!

Party!!

Our dear friends Justing and Nicole had a party for their little girls Sophie and Ashlyn. Sophie turned 3 and Ashlyn turned 1. We went to Espee park and the kids got to play in the water, have dinner, eat treats, and play at the park. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a great time. I love watching Sophie try and play with Sydney. Sophie is way more advanced than Sydney (Sydney is right in the middle, age wise of the birthday girls) but it is so cute to watch Sophie try and include her in the big girl stuff :) We had a wonderful time, Thanks Nicole and Justin for inviting us to be a part in your little girls lives! Here are a few pictures that Mike took at the birthday bash.

Here is Sydney with a messy face after dinner.
Taking a walk in her adorable suit!
Sophie opening her gifts!
Opening more wonderful gifts
Sydney going down the slide.

I love the excitement...oh the joys of being one!
Our little angel.
We had a great time and now I have to get on the ball and start planning for Sydney's birthday. Our little girl is going to be 2 in a month. I can not even believe it! Hugs and kisses to all.
